This activity will lead to our Sloth Park to start, we will walk trough the rainforest 1.5 to 2 hours inside the trails and you can get to see two and three toes sloths and some poisonous froags and snakes even birds. Done with the hike we will visit the second section of the the park to get your amazing chocolate coffee and sugar tasting along all the information provided in by our tour guides. Everyone will love the secret jungle trail which will lead you across rivers and through local wetlands and the best lookout points to photography the majestic Arenal Volcano. On this tour you will go to the Tenorio Volcano National Park. In this park you will witness the rare phenomena of the blue river. The hike itself is medium tough and takes about 4 hours. It takes you to the stunningly beautiful waterfall, a high lookout point and the place where you can see the river change color. After the hike you will enjoy lunch and have some free time to take a quick dip in the river before heading back to La Fortuna.

Get ready for 2 hours tour of pure adventure and adrenaline! Our experience begins at the private farm La Naciente, just minutes from La Fortuna downtown. We start by riding through muddy trails, crossing small rivers and streams, and driving through natural puddles—all surrounded by beautiful rainforest. The terrain is fun and a bit challenging, with bumps, mud, and uneven paths that make the ride exciting. Before starting, we give a clear safety briefing and do a short practice ride to make sure everyone feels comfortable with the ATVs. Then, we continue onto the main trails of La Naciente, where you’ll enjoy more mud, twists, and adventurous sections while riding through nature. Next, we visit the small village of La Guaria, where you can see local life, the church, and a traditional store (pulpería). We then continue along open trails until we reach the Arenal River(depending on weather conditions), where we stop to take photos, enjoy the view, and have a fresh fruit snack.

Enjoy a relaxing river safari float on the Peñas Blancas River, perfect for nature lovers, families and first-time rafters. Float peacefully while your expert guide helps you spot monkeys, birds, iguanas and other wildlife along the riverbanks. After the float, enjoy local snacks and a short cultural experience with Costa Rican flavors before returning to La Fortuna. A unique way to experience Costa Rica's natural beauty and wildlife. Slowly floating down the Peñas Blancas River in a raft. With rainforest on both sides of the river, makes you surround by nature and wildlife. Family friendly experience, you bilingual nature guide will explain step by step about the environment. The drive to the Peñas Blancas river is only 20 minutes. The float takes about two hours with a small fruit break half way down. When we get back to La Fortuna, we provide a typical organic Costa Rican lunch. We make you homemade coffee and take you for a small walk up behind the restaurant, to show you how we grow organic. We finish with a sugarcane demonstration where you get to take the pure sugarcane juice.
