Wandee worked as a Thai Chef in different countries such as New Zealand and Iceland and more . More than 10 years as Chef and cooking teacher and 7 years as Food Tour Leader . Cooking in a lovely open air kitchen and beautiful garden environment of Khao Lak Center. Unique cooking techniques in the tradition Thai ways that only an experienced Thai chef can teach you. Authentic way of making each dish such as curry from scratch and fresh ingredients such as fresh coconut milk, herbs, veggies, meat and seafood. Own cooking station for all students including a gas stove, own cutting board with all knives, spoons and spatulas, a mortar, an apron, and hand towels. Gluten free,Vegan and Vegetarian dishes are one of my specialties, and let's not forget that I am used to cook with children as well.

Begin your day tour with a hotel pick-up in Khao Lak between 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM, and depart for the river. Hop on a bamboo raft and float along the waters, relax and enjoy the stunningly beautiful rainforest around you as your raft is pulled by a local boatman. Visit a sea turtle conservation center working to save and increase the number of sea turtles in the region. The Royal Thai Navy plays an active role in turtle conservation and baby turtles are brought to the center, where they are nursed for 6-8 months before being released into the sea. Finish the tour with a trip to Ton Pling Waterfall, the most popular waterfall in the area. Experience the lovely atmosphere and marvel at the amazing environment surrounding you. At class you will receive expert tuition on the art of cooking traditional Thai cuisine. You will practice the skills I learnt from an early age cooking with Mama. We will learn all about the many ingredients used in Thai cooking whilst touring a local market. This is followed by hands on experience creating your own Thai dishes. You may find Thai cooking easier than you think and you will have a lot of fun learning. You will also receive detailed recipes of everything learnt during class. I can easily accommodate vegans and vegetarians and cater for people with food allergies. Single travellers, couples, groups and families with children are all welcome.
