This tour focus on the waterholes and normal drinking places where animals go when it is hot. Your guide will take good care of you and will be aware of what was seen in the morning so any worthwhile sighting will be on the menu. A comfort stops a viewpoint or camp is included to stretch your legs and get something to drink. Comfort breaks are done to stretch your legs and take a bathroom break. After about 2 hours of game viewing, you will stop at one of the camps for a quick break. After the break, you will continue with the game drive and return to Hazyview. Afternoon safaris are approx 5 hours including transfer and gate time, and a short refreshment stop. Collection times for afternoon safaris are between 1:00 – 2:00 pm (season dependent) and you will return at about 6:00 pm after the safari. The early morning gives you a good start for your game viewing as the bush comes alive and animals become active. They start grazing and move to the water holes before the heat of the day drives them to shelter in the shade of the bush and trees. This safari is approx 6 hours, including transfer and gate time as well as an approx 1-hour breakfast stop at one of the camps. Collection times for morning safaris are between 5:00 – 5:30 am (season dependent) and you will return at about 11:00 am after the safari.
