Le pont du 25 Avril est un pont suspendu sur le Tage reliant Lisbonne (rive nord) à Almada (rive sud), au Portugal. Il traverse l'estuaire du Tage dans sa partie finale et la plus étroite : le goulet d'étranglement. Long de 2 277 mètres, il possède une portée libre de 1 013 mètres, ce qui en fait le 33e plus grand pont suspendu au monde. Son tablier supérieur abrite six voies (trois par sens), tandis que son tablier inférieur abrite deux lignes ferroviaires électrifiées en 25 kV CA.

Cabo Espichel is a promontory located in Portugal, west of the Villa de Sesimbra. It is bordered to the south and west by the Atlantic Ocean and to the north by the National Highway 379 and the Ribeira dos Caixeiros. It marks the southwestern end of the peninsula of Setúbal. On the Cape you can see, vertiginous and abissal, the Bay of Lagosteiros. In Cape Espichel is the bush paquicaule Euphorbia pedroi Molero & Rovira, 1997 (Euphorbiaceae), "trovisco-do-espichel", local endemism. Just north of Cape, in the arribas that limit the Bay of Lagosteiros, are located two important paleoecnological deposits, containing several dinosaur trails, and declared protected areas, which are the Natural Monument of the Stone of Mua and the Natural Monument of Lagosteiros.

Sesimbra has a rich history, from prehistoric vestiges to the development of an important preservation industry in the 20th century. The region was the scene of conquests and reconquests between Moors and Christians, with the Castle of Sesimbra being a strategic defense point. The Villa, initially centered on the castle, evolved into a village near the bay, driven by fishing and shipbuilding, becoming an important port.
