These exhibits include original buildings, slave cabins, memorials, and artwork that aim to convey the harsh realities of slavery. Take a moment to visit the Wall of Honor, which displays the names of more than 350 enslaved individuals who lived on the plantation. This tribute helps personalize their stories and allows visitors to reflect on the human impact of slavery. The museum also features thought-provoking memorial artwork, such as the "Field of Angels" sculpture, which represents the estimated 2,200 enslaved children who died in St. John the Baptist Parish.
