Place du Parlement
We start seeing the statue of the ancient warrior, Queen Boudicea who fought the Romans. We walk on to Parliament Square to see the scene of Black Friday when suffragettes tried to storm Parliament in 1910 as part of the campaign to get votes for women. We will see the statue of Millicent Garrett-Fawcett who organised non-violent campaigns for women's suffrage. All this against the beautiful backdrop of the Palace of Westminster, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. This is a walking tour and we don't enter any of the buildings we see.
