In this reserve, you will discover a variety of insect, reptile, amphibian, and batrachian species. You’ll enjoy observing colorful chameleons, tomato frogs, different types of geckos, bats, and many more fascinating creatures.

Vakona Private Reserve
In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to observe several species of lemurs on the Lemurs Island, including the Dancing lemur, the Bamboo lemur, the Brown lemur, the Black-and-white Ruffed Lemur and the Red Ruffed Lemur. The visit then continues to the crocodile farm, where you can take a pleasant walk and discover a variety of aquatic birds—many of them endemic—as well as other fascinating animals such as chameleons, leaf-tailed geckos, and tortoises.

V.O.I.M.M.A. Community Reserve
In the evening, accompanied by a local guide, you will take a walk through the forest of the V.O.I.M.M.A Community Reserve to observe nocturnal species such as lemurs, chameleons, frogs, and night birds.
