Then, we take the ferry to Palmaria and start our trek. This is one of the most exciting treks in the area. The views are amazing and off the beaten path. If you are staying in Riomaggiore, we will meet at the train station at 8:20 a.m. If you are not staying in Riomaggiore, we will meet on the La Spezia train station platform upon arrival.

We end in Portovenere. Here, you can stay and enjoy this wonderful village on your own. We will provide you with a return ferry ticket to Riomaggiore. If the ferry is not running due to inclement weather, you will be given a bus ticket back to La Spezia.

This day starts at 8:30 am at the Riomaggiore train station, We tour the village before starting on the trek up the hillsides. We go up in stages, so don't worry about a fast pace. We stop to talk about grapes, history, wine & even some quizzes along the way. We want you to have fun. We try to keep you away from the crowds as much as we can. When we arrive in Manarola at the famous photo, that will end our day.
