Pause in front of the ancient Temple of Jupiter, one of the best-preserved Roman temples within Diocletian's Palace. Originally dedicated to the king of the Roman gods, its striking façade and the mysterious sphinx at the entrance reveal the power and symbolism of Roman religion. Later transformed into a Christian baptistery, it reflects Split’s layered history.

Walk along Papalićeva Street, one of the most atmospheric corners of Diocletian's Palace.
