At the entrance to the theatre there is a wall fountain sculpture of the Well of Life, designed in 1905 by the Croatian artist and sculptor Ivan Meshtrović. The theater has also seen many international artists, including Franz Liszt, Sarah Bernhardt and others. Currently, the Croatian National Theatre combines performance venues for theatre, opera and ballet. On October 14, 1995, the theater celebrated its 100th anniversary.
