Minimum age of 8, and minimum shoe size of EUR 35
•
Sturdy hiking boots with ankle support are mandatory (available to rent for a fee if needed)

The tour is rated as easy - no prior experience is needed but guests should expect to walk ~3km over uneven terrain

Please note that our specialized glacier crampons are only available for shoe sizes 35-50 EU. Those with a shoe size beyond these are unfortunately unable to participate.

Located on Iceland’s iconic South Coast, this adventure is for anyone who wants to touch real ice and see the wonders of a glacier firsthand. It is a perfect blend of easy exercise and breathtaking scenery.
Your adventure begins at our base in the Sólheimajökull Parking Lot, about a 35-minute drive from the town of Vík. Here, you meet your friendly, certified glacier guide. After a safety briefing and gear-up, you’ll embark on a scenic walk toward the ice, passing a glacier lagoon where blue icebergs float beautifully in the water.
