Founded in 1804, Old Mission Santa Inés is one of California’s 21 historic Spanish missions and played a central role in the region’s early colonial history. Visitors and staff have reported unexplained footsteps, shadowy figures, and mysterious sounds believed to be connected to the mission’s centuries-old past.
