Rano Raraku
Il s'agit de la seule carrière de tuf volcanique de l'île. Ce matériau a permis la construction de moaïs à plus grande échelle. Rano Raraku abrite la carrière où les moaïs ont été construits et d'où ils ont été déplacés vers les ahu (plateformes cérémonielles) de l'île.

Located opposite to Rano Raraku this is the largest platform from all of the reconstructed on the island. The ahu Tongariki is the most imposing moai platform in the island. This altar has fifteen visible standing statues overlooking the island with their backs to the Pacific Ocean.

Plage d'Anakena
Cette plage se caractérise par ses eaux turquoise et chaudes et son sable corallien. C'est la plage principale de l'île et était autrefois la résidence ancestrale de la famille royale Miru Araki. L'ahu Nau Nau est sans aucun doute l'un des ahu les plus remarquables de l'île grâce au raffinement de ses moaïs.

Le village d'O'rongo est situé sur un flanc du cratère du volcan Rano Kau. Son emplacement spectaculaire, son importance archéologique et historique, ainsi que la diversité et la complexité du site, en font l'une des attractions les plus importantes de l'île. C'est l'un des deux principaux sites de l'île, car c'est là qu'a eu lieu la cérémonie de l'Homme-Oiseau. Il dispose également d'un centre d'accueil des visiteurs avec une exposition permanente.

Located in the southwest side of the island the crater of this volcano is one of the most beautiful natural landscapes of Rapa Nui. With 1.5 Km large this crater is the biggest reserve of endemic flora of Rapa Nui and it lake served as an important source of drinking water in ancient times.

Ahu Akivi
One of the very few ceremonial platforms not located by the sea. Its seven moais have been restored to their standing position by the archaeologists William Mulloy and Gonzalo Figueroa along with the Rapa Nui community. These moai have the particularity of having astronomical positioning guidance and look towards the setting sun
