Taishakuten-Sando
Let's take a stroll through Taishakuten Sando, a street lined with shops and restaurants that retain the charm of the Showa era. Enjoy some kusa dango (rice dumplings with mugwort), a local specialty.
We will arrive at Shibamata Taishakuten (Daikyoji Temple), a historic temple founded in 1629. At the "Sculpture Hall," we admire the exquisite wood carvings depicting stories from the Lotus Sutra. Afterwards, we stroll through the temple gardens, a tranquil green oasis, and the peaceful Suikeien Garden.

Yamamototei
Let's visit Yamamoto-tei, a favorite spot for photographers and garden enthusiasts. You'll be amazed by the fusion of Japanese and Western architectural styles and the beautiful garden, consistently ranked among the top in American Japanese garden magazines. Enjoy matcha tea while taking in the scenery (charges apply).
If the weather is fine, let's take a stroll along the Edogawa River afterward. Traditional Yagiri ferry boats, operating since the Edo period, still run. Enjoy the tranquil scenery, a stark contrast to the bustling city.
