Seomjin Village is also known as the Maehwa (plum) Village. Instead of crops and grains, plum trees are cultivated on farmlands, boasting white snow-like blossoms in March and bearing plentiful ripe plums in June. Jeonju Hanok Village, located in Jeonju, has over 800 traditional Korean houses, as in "Hanbok". Jeonju Hanok Village retains its historical charms and traditions. This village is well-known for its unique roof edges which are slightly raised to the sky. You can also enjoy Korean traditional food such as bibimbap, dduk galbi, and noodles as well as various snacks like ice creams, Choco Pie. You can also borrow and wear Hanbok. Enjoy Gyeonggijeon Shrine, Pungnammun Gate, Nambu Traditional Market and Omokdae.
