First Wildlife Encounter - A stilted oasis resort situated above the river is the site of the first wildlife encounter. Following a safety briefing, you will be able to claim your dormitories or deluxe room. The golden hour of the jungle beckons at 4:00 PM. To avoid startling wildlife, get on a covered boat with a softly humming electric motor. As you glide into oxbow lagoons, watch for acrobatic proboscis monkeys tumbling through riverside trees, their comical noses silhouetted against the sunset.
