This is an adventure motorcycle tour through central and southern Utah. We ride through and experience just about everything that Utah has to offer in just a few short days. Some of the notable areas this tour goes through are the Wasatch Mountains, The San Rafael Swell, Canyonlands National Park, Capitol Reef National Park, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, and Fish Lake National Forest. Nebo Loop - San Rafael Swell - Goblin Valley

Nebo Loop National Scenic Byway
The first scenic area that we ride through on this tour is the Nebo Loop Scenic Byway. It is a beautiful loop that circles around the tallest mountain in the Wasatch mountain range, Mount Nebo. This entire loop is a fun winding paved road.

Energy Loop Byway
The Energy Loop is a scenic route located near Scofield, Utah, USA. The loop is a 20-mile drive that takes us through stunning landscapes, including rolling hills, alpine forests, and meadows. The route also features several interpretive sites that showcase the history of energy production in the area, including coal mining and renewable energy sources such as wind turbines and solar panels, hence the name Energy Loop. This is a great section of the tour because it shows off the beautiful Rocky Mountains just before we dip down into the unique rock formations of the San Rafael Swell.

Spirit Railroad
The spirit railroad is a railroad grade that began construction back in the late 1800's, but never got completed. It makes for a really fun section of the ride and there are still ruins from railroad worker camps that we see along the way.

San Rafael Swell
The San Rafael Swell is a stunning geological formation located in central Utah, USA. The Swell is a vast, rugged area that features towering sandstone cliffs, narrow canyons, and other unique geological formations. This is a spectacular area to ride through and gives us our first taste of the amazing rock formations that we see along this tour.

Green River is a small town located in eastern Utah, USA. It is situated along the Green River and is surrounded by stunning natural scenery, including towering mesas, buttes, and canyons. We stop here to fuel up and grab some lunch.

Goblin Valley State Park
Goblin Valley is a state park located in southeastern Utah, USA. The park is known for its unique rock formations, which resemble goblins or other strange creatures. The formations were created over millions of years of erosion and weathering, resulting in a surreal landscape of sandstone hoodoos, spires, and mushroom-shaped rocks. Goblin Valley is a popular destination for families and anyone interested in experiencing the natural wonders of Utah's desert landscape. It is also a popular spot for stargazing due to its remote location and lack of light pollution. We spend some time walking around Goblin Valley and we spend our first night near Goblin Valley
