The Conference center opened in spring 2011 and is a popular attraction place for Iceland’s concerts and cultural events. It also has a great restaurant, in-house catering and is a conference center with meeting facilities.

Hofdi House
This house is a historical place and a beautiful building! It’s where the famous meeting took place in 1986 between former US President Ronald Reagan and former USSR General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev.

Parlement (Althingishus)
The house of Parliament was built in 1881 in the city center. Near to it we will see the City Hall, which is located next to the pond Reykjavikurtjörn, which is a popular place among the Icelanders to feed the ducks some bread.

Église de Hallgrim
Hallgrímskirkja Church is Iceland’s tallest building or 74.5 meters (244 ft). It took more than 38 years to build the church and is Iceland’s best-known landmarks. The church was designed and influenced by Iceland’s mountains, basalt and glaciers and Gudjon Samuelsson a state architect designed this magnificent structure. The church is named after one of Iceland’s most famous clergyman and poets Hallgrimur Petursson.

Laugardalur Park
This garden is lovely to visit and is filled with sculptures crafted by Asmundur Sveinsson and is located in the sports and recreation area of Laugardalur. The Arbaer Open Air Museum is not far away from where we will see rebuild historic buildings and learn fascinating information about how Icelanders lived in the olden days.

La Perle
The last location is Perlan Restaurant and Cafeteria. It was built on top of Reykjavik’s six water tanks and was used to contain the hot water supply for the Reykjavik city. On top of the building, you’ll be able to see a 360° of the whole Reykjavik and surrounding area.
