This world-renowned archaeological site is the location of a Roman city buried under the ashes of Mount Vesuvius during the catastrophic eruption of 79 AD. You'll discover Ravello, a hidden gem in the mountains that offers spectacular views of the Amalfi Coast. After Ravello, we will make our way to the town of Amalfi; an ancient maritime republic that boasts a rich historical and artistic heritage. You can visit the majestic Cathedral of St. Andrew, a symbol of the city, and the Paper Museum, where you can discover the local tradition of paper-making. You'll also have some free time to walk along the seafront and savor the typical local cuisine products. You will have time to explore the shops, the Cathedral, cafe's or choose to have a swim in the ocean.
