When you think of Asakusa, this is the place to be. With over 1,400 years of history, Senso-ji Temple is said to be the oldest in Japan. You can burn incense in a regular incense burner and enjoy fortune-telling. When you enter the main hall, be sure to look up at the ceiling.

Asakusa Shrine, famous for the Sanja Festival, is a shrine dedicated to the three people who founded Sensoji Temple, and it is said that the development of the Asakusa area is thanks to the Kannon statue enshrined here.

It was a three-story pagoda when it was built 1083 years ago. Currently, the Buddha's relics are enshrined on the top floor of the fifth floor, and although it is not possible to go up there, it is an essential location for taking photos of Asakusa.

Denpoin-dori Street, which runs along Denpoin Temple, is a street that makes you feel like you've traveled back in time to the good old days of Japan, lined with restaurants and souvenir shops, including shops selling shichimi pepper, swords, art galleries, hanten, and footwear.

From Denpoin Street to Hoppy Street. This is an area lined with Japanese-style restaurants and izakayas. A retro Japanese atmosphere spreads out before you.

Hanayashiki is known as the oldest amusement park in Japan. It is home to the oldest roller coaster and jet coaster still in existence in Japan, and exudes a unique atmosphere.

From Asakusa, we head to Kappabashi Shopping Street through Kappabashi Hondori Street. This street is also lined with a variety of restaurants, cafes, and other shops.

Kappabashi Kitchen Street, said to be the largest kitchen tool street in Japan, is lined with around 170 specialty shops selling food-related items such as kitchen utensils, cooking utensils, tableware, packaging materials, and cooking costumes, and you can find food samples and unique souvenirs.

Go through Kaminarimon Street and head towards Azumabashi Bridge.

Azumabashi Bridge has a history of 250 years. It was originally built by six people, which is surprising. It is also famous as a place where you can get a beautiful view of the Skytree and the golden clouds.

At the end of the tour, you will enjoy the view of the water bus on the leisurely flowing Sumida River, and then take a commemorative photo with the Skytree in the background.
