Etchu Yatsuo Tourism Hall
The Hikiyama Festival, Yatsuo's spring ritual passed down since the 1740s, symbolizes the prosperity of Yatsuo merchants who thrived through the production and trade of raw silk, silkworm seeds, Japanese paper, and charcoal.
Amidst this affluent lifestyle, the Hikiyama floats and local performing arts have been continuously preserved.
The exhibition hall displays three Hikiyama floats at all times, accompanied by the elegant Hikiyama festival music.
