The dry season in floating villages may not be the ideal time to take perfect photos, but it provides an opportunity to witness a side of daily village life that is not usually seen. The waterway is very narrow due to the receding waters and becomes a channel that crosses the previously submerged lake bed. Because it is narrow, the boat moves much more slowly.
