On this tour, you will immerse yourself in the art of Iaido and the spirit of the samurai in an authentic Japanese setting—a serene garden adjacent to a historic samurai residence. In the traditional cutting session(Kiritaiken)of Japanese martial arts like "Bushido" and "Iaido", a Japanese Mozoto is used to cut the Urethane rod instead of "tatami mat". You will perform a cutting method called "Kesagiri", under the guidance of a master of the Tamiya-ryu school of Iaido, using a replica blade in the master's garden. After the session, we can take a picture at the Japanese garden, in front of the senary of temple bell. If you are interested in visiting neighbor temple called Meguro Fudoson temple. we can take a walk to the temple through small path.
