Gudauri is a ski resort located on the south-facing plateau of The Greater Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia. The resort is situated in the Stepantsminda District, along the Georgian Military Highway. The resort offers high quality skiing opportunities. Ski touring here is a great way to access nature as it was intended to be seen. The lifts provide easy access to the mountain wilderness that make this region special. With the necessary equipment and a bit of hard work, riders will be able to escape the crowds on the slopes and find some great skiing. Gudauri has more than 64 km of ski runs and 15 lifts.

Ananuri - belonged to one of the strongest feudal clans of late medieval Georgia - Aragvi Eristavs. The fortress belongs to the early feudal era, and served as an outpost of defense, blocking the road leading from the Daryal gorge to the Caucasian mountains.

The Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument or Treaty of Georgievsk Monument is a monument built in 1983 to celebrate the bicentennial of the Treaty of Georgievsk and the ongoing friendship between Soviet Georgia and Soviet Russia. Located on the Georgian Military Highway between the ski resort town of Gudauri and the Jvari pass, the monument is a large round stone and concrete structure overlooking the Devil's Valley in the Caucasus mountains. Inside the monument is a large tile mural that spans the whole circumference of the structure and depicts scenes of Georgian and Russian history.
