It is the former capital of the administrative region of Meknes-Tafilalet and currently one of the two urban centers of the Fez-Meknes region in the north of the country. It is one of the four imperial cities of Morocco and the third largest city of the kingdom according to the census of 2014. It was the capital of Morocco during the reign of Ismail ben Chérif (1672-
1727). The historic city of Meknes has been under the protection of UNESCO since 1996.

Médina de Fès
Fez , is a city of central Morocco, located 180 km east of Rabat, in aplain south of the Middle Atlas. It is the second most populous city in Morocco after Casablanca. Its foundation dates back to the end of the 8th century, under the reign of Idriss I . Its international influence has become one of the capitals of the civilization arabia-Muslim side of Damascus, Baghdad, Cordoba, Istanbul or Isfahan.
The Visit will start ine old medina with the Andalusian Mosque dating back to 860. Take in other sites including the Nejjarine Fountain, the Bouaanania Medersa, dating from the 13th century, and the Batha Palace.
