PASABAG, Highly remarkable earth pillars can be seen here, in the middle of a vineyard, hence the name of the place which means: the Pasha’s vineyard. UCHISAR est un village troglodyte situé à 4 km à l'est de Göreme. Il est célèbre pour son imposante formation rocheuse autrefois utilisée comme fortification. Ce rocher extraordinaire est le plus haut sommet de la région et offre une vue panoramique magnifique sur toute la Cappadoce, avec le mont Erciyes au loin. La plupart des pièces du château sont reliées entre elles par des escaliers, des tunnels et des passages. À l'entrée de nombreuses pièces, des portes en meules, semblables à celles des habitations souterraines, contrôlaient l'accès à ces lieux. L'érosion empêche malheureusement l'accès à toutes les pièces. La plupart des pièces, situées au nord du château, servent encore aujourd'hui de pigeonniers. Les agriculteurs utilisaient ces pigeonniers pour recueillir les fientes de pigeons, un excellent engrais naturel pour les vergers et les vignes.

KAYMAKLI UNDERGROUND CITY is built under the hill known as the Citadel of Kaymaklı and was opened to visitors in 1964. The people of Kaymaklı (Enegup in Greek) have built their houses around nearly 100 tunnels of the underground city. The inhabitants of the region still use the most convenient places in the tunnels as cellars, storage areas and stables, which they access through their courtyards. Kaymaklı underground city has low, narrow and sloping passages. While the underground city consists of 8 floors below ground, only 4 of them are open to the public today, in which the spaces are organized around ventilation shafts
