Qobustan is an ancient place of habitats that live in these areas on the dates of 5,000-40,000 years ago. It is located about 60 km far from Baku city center. This location is included in the UNESCO Heritage list. Qobustan National Museum will help you to feel the history of the first immigrants to these lands. The reserve has more than 6,000 rock engravings dating back 5,000-40,000 years. The site also features the remains of inhabited caves, settlements, and burials, all reflecting intensive human use by the inhabitants of the area during the wet period that followed the last Ice Age.

Ateshgah - Fire Temple

Yanar Dag
Yanar Dag is a natural gas fire that blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan (a country which itself is known as "the Land of Fire"). Flames jet into the air 3 meters (9.8 ft) from a thin, porous sandstone layer.
