Chand Baori (Puits d'escalier)
Excursion matinale à Agra depuis Jaipur. Vous serez pris en charge à votre hôtel vers 6h00. Installez-vous confortablement dans votre véhicule privé et détendez-vous.
En route, arrêt au village d'Abhaneri. Visitez les vestiges de l'ancien temple Harshat Mata, notamment la chambre principale, la terrasse et les murs du sanctuaire. Admirez des représentations de divinités hindoues comme Vishnu, ainsi que des scènes de musique, de sport et de danse. Vous visiterez également le puits à degrés Chand Baoli, datant du XIe siècle, une idée originale imaginée par les villageois pour capter l'eau de pluie. Ce puits à degrés constitue ainsi un impressionnant réservoir d'eau. Situé devant le temple Harshat Mata, ce puits à degrés colossal a une profondeur de 20 mètres et compte 13 niveaux. Chand Baori est l'un des puits à degrés les plus profonds et les plus grands d'Inde. C'est une merveille architecturale avec plusieurs vérandas, des panneaux magnifiquement sculptés et des piliers en pierre sculptée qui servaient de poulies pour puiser l'eau.

Taj Mahal
After this, continue your drive to Agra. Upon arrival, you will have an included buffet lunch at the local restaurant (Beverage Excluded).
In the afternoon, visit the Taj Mahal, a “Monument to Love”. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built the monument in memory of his favorite wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is an immense mausoleum of beautiful white marble with inlaid precious stones built between 1631 and 1648. It is the jewel of Muslim art in India and considered to be one of the most impressive architectural masterpieces in the world.

Fort d'Agra
Next, visit the 16th century Agra Fort with its battlements, apartments, gardens and audience halls. The Red Fort of Agra is a powerful fortress built of red sandstone. It was the imperial city of the Mughal rulers. Within the Fort, you will find many fairy tale palaces, such as the Jahangir Palace and the Khas Mahal - built by Shah Jahan. Also view audience halls, such as the Diwan-i-Khas as well as two very beautiful mosques.
The tour concludes with a drive back to Jaipur. Upon arrival, you will be dropped back at your hotel.
