Cabbage market, Zelný trh in Czech is a historic square and traditional market in the center of Brno, which has been operating since the 13th century. It is famous for selling fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers, the Baroque Parnas fountain and the underground labyrinth of medieval corridors. The Reduta Theater, where W A Mozart gave concerts, is also located here.

The Old Town Hall in Brno is a former town hall building and the oldest secular building in the city. The origins of the building date back to the 13th century. The building served as a town hall until 1935. Currently the premises of the Old Town Hall house a cultural and information center, in the passage of the tower there is a Brno wheel and a dragon, which are associated with several Brno legends.

Château de Spilberk
Špilberk Castle is a dominant of Brno situated on the hilltop. Its construction began as early as the first half of the 13th century. From a major royal castle established around the mid-13th century, and the seat of the Moravian margraves in the mid-14th century, it was gradually turned into a huge baroque citadel considered the harshest prison in the Austrian Empire. Those who do not want to walk up the hill might skip this castle.

Namesti Svobody
Freedom Square = Namesti Svobody is the imaginary center and hub of the entire city. The first mentions of it date back to the 13th century, when it was called Forum Inferius, which was soon translated into Czech as Dolní trh. In the Middle Ages, wealthy townspeople and nobles built houses here, which increased the importance of the square.

Église Saint-Jacques
The Church of St. James is a late Gothic three-nave hall church located on Jakubské Square in the historic center of Brno, whose history dates back to the early 13th century. The defender of the city against the Swedish siege, Marshal Louis Raduit de Souches, is buried here.

Cathédrale Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul
The Roman Catholic Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul is another dominant of Brno. The interior is mostly Baroque while the exterior is Gothic that dates mostly to the 14th century, and its impressive 84-metre-high towers were constructed between 1901 and 1909. The original cathedral site dates to the 11th century.
