You will see Le Passe-Muraille, the sculpture of “The Man Who Walks Through Walls,” one of Montmartre’s unusual local landmarks.

You will see Au Lapin Agile, a historic cabaret connected with Montmartre’s bohemian and artistic past.

You will see the Basilica of Sacré-Cœur, one of the main symbols of Montmartre.

You will visit Place du Tertre, the famous Montmartre square known for its many caricature artists and lively atmosphere. The walk also passes through nearby streets connected with artists’ studios and local Montmartre stories.

You will see Bateau-Lavoir, the house of artists’ studios where Pablo Picasso and Kees van Dongen lived, and learn about Montmartre’s bohemian and artistic past.

You will see the Wall of Love and may count how many languages the phrase “I love you” is written in. The route also includes the Church of Saint-Jean de Montmartre, noted for its Art Nouveau architecture, stained glass, and unusual mosaic decoration.

The walk finishes near the Pigalle area, where you will see the legendary Moulin Rouge cabaret, one of the best-known symbols of Montmartre and Parisian nightlife.
