A 360-degree spectacular view for as little effort as possible. This panoramic hike is suitable for everybody; even families with small children are most welcome to join. This hike will take you to the 2014 m high peak of Debela Peč. In only about 3 hours, you will reach the top and enjoy an amazing view over the Julian Alps to the north and west, Lake Bled and its surroundings to the south, majestic Karavanke Ridge to the East, and Karavanke-Savinja Alpine Ridge in the distance on the south-eastern side. There is a cabin under the peak where you can order traditional Slovenian food.

The panoramic hike in the Julian Alps is an easy hike to the 2050 m high mountain Debela peč. Starting in Pokljuka plateau, it will give you a glimpse of the amazing slovenian alpine beauty.
While hiking to the top of the mountain, you will be surrounded by a beautiful green forest, and soon, you will get the best views around the Alps. Mount Triglav, our highest mountain, will be visible in its full magnificence. There are some other breathtaking views of Mount Viševnik, Draški vrh, and the Lipanca mountain pasture.
During the hike, we will make a stop at the traditional Slovenian mountain hut, where you will be able to try some traditional food.
