Its striking whitewashed architecture, fascinating jail museum, and stunning lochside setting make it one of the most picturesque stops on any Highland itinerary. Whist we are in the town of Inveraray you may wish to visit the castle. Home to the Dukes of Argyll, the castle is the seat of the Clan Campbell.

Perched on a sweeping natural harbour on Scotland's west coast, Oban is the gateway to the Hebridean islands and one of the Highlands' most charming coastal towns. From its famous seafood stalls to the hilltop folly of McCaig's Tower, the town offers breathtaking views across to Kerrera, Mull, and beyond. Lunch will be in Oban and time to try some wonderful seafood or perhaps a quick visit to the small distillery.
