Our first tasting introduces one of Oaxaca’s most iconic dishes: enmoladas. These soft tortillas are filled and covered with Oaxaca’s famous rich and complex mole sauce, a true symbol of local cuisine.

We continue to the vibrant Mercado Benito Juárez, one of the most famous markets in Oaxaca. Here guests will taste several traditional ingredients including:

Chapulines (toasted grasshoppers), a traditional Oaxacan snack
Trying chapulines is completely optional. Guests who are curious are warmly invited to taste them, but there is absolutely no pressure if you prefer not to.
