This town holds a significant place in history as one of the first to be liberated during D-Day in World War II. It is best known for its iconic church, which draws visitors intrigued by the story of paratrooper John Steele, whose parachute became caught on the church steeple during the Allied invasion.
We will stop at a local bakery where you can purchase food, though you are also welcome to bring your own meal—especially if you have specific dietary needs or restrictions.

Omaha Beach

Ce sera notre dernière étape avant de reprendre la route pour le port ou votre hôtel, après deux heures de route.

Après deux heures de route à travers la campagne normande, votre premier arrêt sera la Pointe du Hoc, où vous pourrez admirer les nombreux cratères de bombes restés intacts depuis la guerre. Grimpez à travers les différents bunkers pour observer comment les Allemands ont exploité les falaises à leur avantage, et imaginez comment les Américains ont attaqué et capturé la batterie après l'avoir escaladée.
