Watch live performances featuring samurai sword fights, ninja acrobatics, and traditional theater. Explore small shops for crafts and snacks inspired by old Japan. Arrive at Noboribetsu’s most famous natural attraction. Hell Valley is a dramatic volcanic landscape where hot steam vents, bubbling sulfur springs, and mineral-rich streams flow through a rugged gorge. Walk along the easy boardwalk trails for the best views.

On the way back, we stop briefly at Lake Shikotsu, one of Japan’s clearest and deepest lakes. Take photos by the lakeshore, framed by volcanic mountains. If the weather is good, enjoy a short lakeside stroll to feel the calm atmosphere.
