Your adventure begins on the calm waters of the Victoria Nile, as your boat glides past riverbanks teeming with wildlife. Watch hippos bobbing in the water, crocodiles sunning on the shore, and elephants or buffalo coming to drink. The river is also a bird lover’s paradise, with sightings of kingfishers, bee-eaters, herons, fish eagles, and sometimes the elusive shoebill.
