at least 90 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED ENTRY AND TOUR TO NEUSCHWANSTEIN CASTLE
When you collect your tickets, our team will provide you with all the essential information you need for a smooth and enjoyable visit, including directions, transportation options, and guidance on reaching the castle on time.
After arriving in Hohenschwangau (the village below Neuschwanstein Castle), you can access our specially designed interactive map on your smartphone.
The map will guide you on a scenic self-guided walk from the village to the castle entrance.

After having collected your original castle entry tickets from our shop, Royal Gifts & Treasures, located inside Füssen Train Station (Bahnhofstraße 12, 87629 Füssen) 90 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR BOOKED STARTING TIME you begin your independent journey to Neuschwanstein Castle.
To ensure you arrive at the castle on time, please allow sufficient time for travel from Füssen to Hohenschwangau (approx 30 min) and for the 30–40 minute uphill walk from the village to the castle entrance.
