During the tour, participants will also have the opportunity to see the remains of the former Japanese Army 32nd Headquarters bunker located underground the Shuri Castle area. This underground military bunker was used by the Japanese Army during the Battle of Okinawa in 1945 and is an important historical site that helps visitors understand Okinawa’s wartime history alongside the history of the Ryukyu Kingdom.

After visiting the Shuri Castle site, we will also visit Tama-Udun, the royal mausoleum of the Ryukyu Kingdom. At Tama-Udun, you can explore the historic stone tombs of the Ryukyu royal family and learn about Okinawan royal culture, burial customs, and spiritual traditions. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a unique opportunity to experience an important part of Okinawa’s history and heritage.
