Next, embark on a city tour of Monaco. Visit Monaco-ville, also known as the Rock, the Principality's historic birthplace. This picturesque, fortified district is one of eleven in the city-state, and today remains the nerve center of Monaco's political institutions. See the Prince's Palace, the Government, the National Council, the Town Hall, the Communal Council, and the main courts. See the Musée Océanographique of Monaco, or the Carabiniers's caserne, the Port Hercule or even the Monaco's Cathedral.

Then, head to Eze, a medieval village perched on a rocky outcrop over 400 meters above sea level.
