Day 1 – Travel & First Taste of Safari
Early 7:00 AM ferry from Zanzibar → Dar es Salaam (1h 20m) → quick drive to SGR station → scenic 1: 30-hour train ride to Morogoro → 1-hour drive into Mikumi. Arrive for lunch, then jump straight into a relaxed 4-hour afternoon game drive (lions, elephants, giraffes in golden light). Sundowner & dinner at camp. Perfect gentle introduction after a morning of travel.
