Expect to witness a limestone mountain, that features travertines full of thermal water. Take your time to walk around, and admire the exceptional natural beauty of this landscape. In case you wish to swim into a thermal pool, you can visit the nearby Cleopatra’s Pool, and enter at an extra cost.
In Pamukkale, you will also visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. Back in antiquity, this settlement used to be an important healing and spiritual hub. As you walk through the ruins, expect to see an amphitheatre, a necropolis, Roman baths, temples, and many more.
