Mosquée Jummah
La mosquée du vendredi, à la frontière de Médine, marque le lieu où le Prophète (ﷺ) a dirigé la première prière du vendredi, peu après son Hijra (émigration) de La Mecque. Elle se trouve à environ 2,5 km de la mosquée du Prophète (ﷺ). Une centaine de musulmans ont participé à cette première prière du vendredi. Parmi eux se trouvaient les proches du Prophète (ﷺ) de Banu an-Najjar venus à sa rencontre, ainsi que des Banu Amr qui l'avaient escorté depuis Quba. Après avoir accompli la prière du vendredi, le Prophète (ﷺ) est monté sur son chameau (Qaswa) et s'est mis en route pour Médine.
