DAY 1: Marrakech to Boumalne Dades*
We'll start early, leaving Marrakech behind and heading into the Atlas Mountains. Your first stop will be the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site . This ancient kasbah is one of Morocco's most iconic landmarks, with its stunning architecture and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
After exploring the kasbah, we'll continue on to Ouarzazate, the "Gateway to the Sahara" , and grab lunch at a local restaurant. Try some traditional Moroccan tagine – it's a must-try!
The drive then takes us through the beautiful Dades Valley, with its picturesque villages and stunning mountain scenery . We'll arrive in Boumalne Dades, a charming town nestled in the valley, where we'll check-in to a local hotel or riad .
You can relax, explore the town, or take a stroll along the Dades River . The views are stunning, especially at sunset .
