Once enter the township of Mondesa, we stop and talk about the history and housing situation, then we embark from the vehicle and take a walk through the streets, stopping at the single quarters traditional food markets.

A special visit to a wonderful woman who tells us all about her history in Swakopmund and explains her traditional as a Herero woman. We are invited into her home to get a glimpse into her fascinating culture.

DRC, Democratic Resettlement Community. Here we visit a Nama Herbalist who is a practicing midwife and herbalist doctor. We learn about the natural medicinal plants of Namibia and the local Nama/Damara Language.

Mondesa
Throughout the drive through the location, we discuss various topics regarding the cultures, education, housing etc of Namibia and its urban areas.
We end off the tour with a sampling of some traditional Oshivambo food in a local restaurant and some singing traditional songs from a local choir group.
