Lake Kerkini
Pick-up from your location and drive towards to Lithotopos village, the starting point for the boat cruise. Drive duration: 60 minutes (from Thessaloniki)
Kerkini is one of the oldest migratory stations for birds in the area. This is the ideal destination for nature lovers – enjoy this full day excursion to get close to rare species of birds and animals!
This is a day trip to Lake Kerkini, one of the 10 most valuable wetland habitats in Greece with about 300 species of birds and rare animals. Among the many species, admire the beautiful flamingos and the magnificent buffalos that walk near you. All these are combined with the wonderful view of Mount Belles and the majestic valley of Serres.

• Admire the lake while driving through a peninsula that separates the lake from the fields. On your right hands you admire the lake and on your left hands you admire the fields and the mountain range of Belles.
