Experience one of Britain's greatest mountain drives.
Travel the famous Hardknott Pass, renowned for its dramatic hairpin bends, breathtaking views and remote mountain scenery.
Along the route you'll also pass Hardknott Roman Fort, built almost 2,000 years ago to guard this ancient frontier.

This easy to moderate walk of approximately 5 km follows peaceful paths beneath some of England's most famous mountain peaks, offering incredible views and a chance to truly experience the landscape.
Your guide will share stories about the valley's geology, farming traditions and literary connections along the way.
