We start with 2 miles hike through trails of solidified volcanic lava and primary rainforest to reach the lookout, which is as close to the Arenal Volcano as you can safely reach. From there, the views of Lake Arenal, the secondary rainforest, and areas devastated by ancient eruptions will be impressive. Around 11:30 a.m. we will move on to the second point of interest. The 230ft high La Fortuna Waterfall is a breathtaking place, where you can take a refreshing swim or just photograph this magical waterfall and its splendid surrounding. Around 1:00 p.m., we will enjoy a delicious lunch in a typical food restaurant. Next, around 2:30 p.m., we will make our way to the Hanging Bridges to walk ...

Cascade de La Fortuna
La Fortuna waterfall is a perfect opportunity to see exotic nature, but up-close. The tour guide will help you to spot the different species of birds and different kinds of plants that you will be able to enjoy during the hike. Keep your eye out and bring your camera to take photos of the view. The sounds and the foliage around the waterfall are some simple things that make this visit a unique natural experience. Even if is raining, It is impressive to see the sheer power of the water coming off the rocks. The stairs/trail is well maintained making it suitable for most ages. And don’t forget your bathing suit! Swimming in the cool crystalline waters of the waterfall pool will be one of the highlights and will cool you off from your hike. It is absolutely breathtaking.

Ponts suspendus d'Arenal
Mistico Hanging Bridges est une réserve de 240 hectares, abritant une végétation luxuriante et une faune abondante. Le sentier, long d'environ 3,2 km, traverse 10 petits ponts et 5 grands ponts suspendus, mesurant entre 5 et 100 mètres de long et atteignant 55 mètres de haut, permettant d'explorer les différents niveaux de la forêt (sous-bois, sous-bois et canopée). Le sentier présente une pente maximale de 7 degrés, sans marches, avec des garde-corps et un revêtement en béton antidérapant, pour une marche sans difficulté et en toute sécurité, même en hauteur.
