Arashiyama (about 2hours of free time)
The Arashiyama area is divided into two parts, Arashiyama and Sagano. This area not only has rich cultural attractions but also has natural scenery that changes with the seasons and retro trains. Home to many ancient temples and shrines, and Tenryuji Temple is one of the world's most beautiful places. A heritage-level monument, there is a famous bamboo forest trail from the Nonomiya Shrine to Okochi Sanso. As a popular tourist destination for cherry blossom viewing and maple viewing, Arashiyama attracts a large number of visitors each spring and autumn.
