Batu Caves (Tamil: பத்து மலை, romanized: Pattumalai) is a mogote (a type of karst landform) that has a series of caves and cave temples in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia. It takes its name from the Malay word batu, meaning 'rock'.[1][2] The cave complex is one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India, and is dedicated to Murugan.

The Petronas Towers (Malay: Menara Berkembar Petronas), also known as the Petronas Twin Towers and colloquially the KLCC Twin Towers, are an interlinked pair of 88-storey supertall skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, standing at 451.9 metres (1,483 feet). From 1998 to 2004, they were officially designated as the tallest buildings in the world until they were surpassed by the completion of the Taipei 101 in 2004.

The Istana Negara (English: National Palace) is the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the monarch of Malaysia. It is located along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim (formerly Jalan Duta) near Taman Duta, northwestern Kuala Lumpur. The palace opened in 2011 and replaced the old Istana Negara which was located at a different compound in central Kuala Lumpur. The palace complex has an area of 97.65 hectares, 22 domes, and is split into three main portions: the Formal Component, Royal Component and Administration Component.[1] The whole palace complex has 3 main entry points from Jalan Duta, Changkat Semantan and Jalan Sri Hartamas 1 which are named as Pintu 1 Istana Negara (Gate 1 of Istana Negara), Pintu 2 Istana Negara (Gate 2 of Istana Negara) and Pintu 3 Istana Negara (Gate 3 of Istana Negara) respectively.

La Mosquée nationale de Malaisie (en malais : Masjid Negara Malaysia) est une mosquée située à Kuala Lumpur, en Malaisie. D'une capacité de 15 000 personnes, elle est nichée au cœur de 53 000 m² de jardins. Ses principaux atouts sont un minaret de 73 mètres de haut et un toit principal en béton en forme d'étoile à 16 branches. Le parapluie, symbole des tropiques, est mis en valeur : le toit principal évoque un parapluie ouvert, tandis que le chapeau du minaret est plié. Les plaques pliées du toit principal en béton constituent une solution créative pour obtenir les grandes portées requises dans la salle de réunion principale. Des bassins réfléchissants et des fontaines sont répartis dans l'ensemble du complexe. Achevée en 1965, la mosquée est une approche audacieuse et moderne en béton armé, symbole des aspirations d'une nation alors nouvellement indépendante.

La place de l'Indépendance (en malais : Dataran Merdeka) est une place située à Kuala Lumpur, en Malaisie. Elle se trouve devant le bâtiment Sultan Abdul Samad. Anciennement connue sous le nom de Selangor Club Padang, ou simplement Padang (qui signifie « terrain » en malais), elle servait de terrain de cricket au Selangor Club (aujourd'hui le Royal Selangor Club). C'est ici que le drapeau de l'Union a été abaissé et que le drapeau malaisien a été hissé pour la première fois à minuit le 31 août 1957. Depuis, la place de l'Indépendance est le lieu habituel du défilé annuel du Jour de l'Indépendance.

The Parliament of Malaysia (Malay: Parlimen Malaysia) is the national legislature of Malaysia, based on the Westminster system. The bicameral parliament consists of the Dewan Rakyat (House of Representatives, lit. "People's Assembly") and the Dewan Negara (Senate, lit. "State Assembly"). The Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King), as the head of state, is the third component of Parliament. The Parliament assembles in the Malaysian Houses of Parliament, located in the national capital city of Kuala Lumpur. The term "Member of Parliament (MP)" usually refers to a member of the Dewan Rakyat, the lower house of the Parliament. The term "Senator" usually refers to a member of the Dewan Negara, the upper house of the Parliament.

Kuala Lumpur Tower (Malay: Menara Kuala Lumpur; Jawi: منارا کوالا لومڤور‎), colloquially referred to as KL Tower, is a 6-storey, 421-metre-tall (1,381 ft) telecommunication tower in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is the world's seventh-tallest tower and Malaysia and Southeast Asia's second tallest tower. Its construction was completed on 1994. It features an antenna which increases its height to 421 metres (1,381 feet). The roof of the pod is at 335 metres (1,100 feet). The rest of the tower below has a stairwell and an elevator to reach the upper area, which also contains a revolving restaurant, providing diners with a panoramic view of the city.

The Klang River (Malay: Sungai Klang) is a river which flows through Kuala Lumpur and Selangor in Malaysia and eventually flows into the Straits of Malacca. It is approximately 120 km (75 mi) in length and drains a basin of about 1,288 km2 (497 sq mi). The Klang River has 11 major tributaries.

Jadi Batek was established in 1976 by husband and wife team Yong Jo and Thong Lai Ying. They took over a batik shop from their boss, Tan Sri Dr Tan Hian Tsin who was the founder of Singapore-based Crocodile brand. During 70’s, Batik was referred as “Batek” in Malaysia before it was standardized to “Batik” in 80’s.
