No buses. No flag-following. Just you, real food, and real stories.
I’m a traveler too. After exploring the world, I realized that most visitors to Korea only see the surface — busy streets and tourist landmarks. That’s not the real Korea.
Join me, Mike, your local host, as we dive into the real Korean lifestyle — staying in a Hanok house, cooking homemade meals, grilling BBQ in a traditional courtyard, and sipping Makgeolli(Korea traditional alcohol) under the stars. This tour skips the touristy spots and takes you into Korea’s heart: folk villages, local markets, and unforgettable flavors. Come for the sights. Stay for the soul.

Your journey starts here — at Korea’s timeless folk village
3 Stops
1
Oeam Folk Village
We'll begin by exploring the entire Korean folk village. As we walk through the traditional village, you’ll get to feel the charm of old Korea — its culture, architecture, and atmosphere.

2
Oeam Folk Village
we’ll visit a traditional Korean market — a lively place full of local snacks and culture. You’ll have the chance to experience a traditional Korean tavern, known as a jumak.
Relax and enjoy a laid-back Korean afternoon with savory pajeon (green onion pancake) and a refreshing cup of makgeolli (Korean rice wine).
This is not your average pancake — it’s an unforgettable taste of Korea that you won’t find anywhere else.

Oeam Folk Village
After a relaxing time at the folk village, we’ll head into the evening with a Korean-style BBQ dinner, set in the courtyard of a traditional hanok as the sunset paints the sky.
You’ll enjoy juicy samgyeopsal (Korean pork belly), a variety of side dishes, and a hearty traditional stew — all paired with authentic Korean alcoholic drinks.
We’ll also share the entire cooking process together, from start to finish, so you can enjoy not just the flavors but the experience of making the meal, too.
